Giza, Saqqara & Memphis Full-Day Private Tour The tour starts at 8:00 AM with pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by a Tix & Trips Egypt Tours professional guide. Begin your full-day tour with a visit to the Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Explore the Valley Temple, where priests once mummified the body of King Chephren, owner of the second pyramid. Here, you can also get a close-up view of the Great Sphinx, the legendary guardian with the lion’s body and the head of King Chephren. Next, continue to Saqqara, located just 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, a key milestone in the evolution of pyramid construction, transitioning from simple mastabas to the iconic pyramids we know today. After Saqqara, proceed to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. Here you will see the colossal statue of Ramses II and the Great Alabaster Sphinx, monuments that date back to 3100 B.C. At the end of the tour, you will be comfortably transferred back to your hotel. Optional activities are available for an additional fee: enter any of the pyramids from the inside, ride a camel around the Giza Pyramids, or enjoy a quad bike ride across the wide desert.
